Aggressive Representation in License Suspension Appeals

Do you know that in Pennsylvania driving is considered a privilege and not a constitutional right?

In this day and age of multi-tasking and, oftentimes, multiple jobs, it may be hard to imagine your life without a valid drivers' license. I can arm you with the knowledge as to how to retain this valuable privilege and help you to recover your driving privileges as the law provides.

As a former trial lawyer for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDot), I spent over half of my 20-year legal career prosecuting hundreds of license suspension appeals in counties throughout Western Pennsylvania. PennDot is the governmental agency that has the power and the obligation to oversee drivers' licensing law. I put my experience to work for you, assisting you in understanding the often intricate inner workings of the Pennsylvania drivers' licensing laws and regulations.

Contact my office to schedule a free telephone consultation.

In Pennsylvania, your driving privilege can be suspended or revoked for a number of reasons:

  • An arrest or conviction for driving under the influence (DUI)
  • An accumulation of points on your driving record
  • Driving under suspension
  • Medical incompetency, where a medical condition, such as seizures or alcoholism, may have an impact on your ability to drive
  • Credit hearings in which PennDot holds administrative hearings in Harrisburg to determine whether you should receive credit for time served, but not acknowledged, for a suspension of your driving privileges
  • Permitting others to violate the law while utilizing your motor vehicle

I can assist you in recognizing whether you have a valid case or if you are wasting your time and money.

I will obtain a copy of all licensing information from PennDot and review it for discrepancies between PennDot's assertions and your statement of the facts. If there are mistakes related to your driving record, or if you have been a victim of identity theft/fraud I will work to correct those mistakes administratively.

Divorce and Family Law

I help individuals navigate the challenges presented in the emotionally charged area of family law. Whether you are facing a divorce, separation, support or custody situation, experience with litigation in the Family Law Division of Butler County can assist you in facing these challenges. I will arm you with accurate information and aggressive representation.

I work with individuals at all stages of:

  • Child custody
  • The equitable distribution of property
  • The determination of exclusive possession
  • Spousal support or alimony
  • Child support
  • Protection from abuse (PFA) actions
  • Divorce and family law appeals.

For aggressive representation in license suspension/revocations or family law matters, contact me. My office is open from 9 am until 5 pm, Monday through Friday, however, I also offer Saturday and evening appointments for your convenience. I am willing to travel to meet with clients facing eminent domain issues.
